The Associaçao Caboverdiana Em Bridgeport (ACEB) was established in 1982 in Bridgeport, CT, by a group of Cape Verdean immigrates that were seeking cultural, social, and recreation. 

Since our inception, our primary objectives have continued to be the perseverance of culture and maintaining a link to the Cabo Verde Islands for our countrymen/women in our community. We have not only been able to meet the aforementioned objectives but have made immeasurable contributions to our greater community. We donate to and host charitable events, support the formation and continued success of Bridgeport Youth Soccer (BAYSO), host local, national, and international dignitaries, promote and organize cultural events, soccer tournaments, organize community fields trips, and sponsor scholarship programs to community youth heading to college.
